Splits · for macOS

Every video is a stack of scenes.

Splits finds every one and exports each as its own clip — with its own framing, its own grade and its own format, all on your Mac.

01 · The gesture

One click. Every scene.

This one is real, and it splits itself once. Take it over — toggle Smart Cuts, or click between two frames to cut by hand. Watch the readout.

Splitting is the boring half. Choosing is yours.

01 · The split

One file becomes every scene.

Splits reads the footage, finds where each shot ends, and hands you every scene as its own clip. Or cut by hand, between any two frames.

02 · Context

Cuts where the talk changes topic.

Splits transcribes the speech on this Mac, cuts where the subject turns, and titles every clip. Guide it by clip length or by number of cuts — one free preview, then Pro.

03 · Framing

Any aspect. No letterbox.

Deliver 16:9 · 9:16 · 1:1 · 4:3 · 2.35 from the same cut. Reframe with zoom and pan — and the black bars remove themselves.

04 · Color

Grade every cut on its own.

Brightness, contrast, saturation and temperature live on the cut, not the file. A look per scene — and the preview is exactly what exports.

05 · Format

H.264, HEVC, ProRes, GIF.

Pick the codec and the frame rate — 8 → 60 fps, stop-motion to smooth. H.264 and HEVC are free; ProRes, MKV, WebM, AV1 and FFV1 are Pro. GIFs get a real palette, dithered and diffed.

02 · The desk

Every cut, on one window.

In and out, framing, grade and format live on the cut, not on the file. What the window shows is what exports.
